For leaders, feeling and demonstrating self-confidence is a necessity. It can influence motivation to set stretch goals, learn new skills and develop in areas they find challenging. We will examine new global leadership research exploring the relationship between self-confidence and effectiveness, and the behavioral correlates of self-confidence. We will also discuss practical strategies for improving self-confidence using 360 assessments.

Maria Brown

Maria leads the research function at MRG. Her research explores contemporary themes in leadership and motivation. She regularly presents her research around the world and has been published in a number of journals. Maria holds a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Boston, and a M.S. and Ph.D. in Psychology from Vanderbilt University. Before joining MRG in 2017, Maria was an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Murray State University.
