Although the LGBT community has come a long way in the fight for equality, education still hasn’t caught up. Sex Education programs need to be LGBT inclusive so that LGBT youth can be in a learning environment where they feel safe and supported by their peers and teachers. Implementing comprehensive and inclusive sex education has been proven to positively impact the attitudes and sexual behaviors of both LGBT and heterosexual students.
