01-541DL Beat the Drums and Toot the Horns: Disseminate your Program Successes

Health promotion programs offered by public and community health organizations have success stories to share, but due to a lack of resources (staff, time and money), are often unable to communicate and advocate these stories.

This leads to missed opportunities for these organizations to communicate their accomplishments to the broader community of stakeholders such as the media, policymakers, legislators, peer professionals, program participants, etc. Additionally, the lack of dissemination could lead to unrealized partnerships and collaborations with like-minded service organizations and possibly adversely impact sustainability efforts. The focus of this webinar is to prepare and advocate organizations to further communicate their program impact.
