Date / Time

Venue

This is a virtual event, accessible online. Access instructions will be provided after registration.

Description

Health care organizations protect themselves against malpractice verdicts and settlements with medical professional liability insurance. But what can they do to protect against the less visible, but very real, losses of care team productivity and engagement when clinicians and care teams face a claim—losses that can also impact business results? This webinar will help you recognize and understand your risks, act to reduce your risks and effectively support clinicians and care teams who are the target of a claim.

Objectives:

This webinar will provide you with the knowledge to:

  1. Understand the leading causes of patient/resident injury and malpractice claims for clinicians, clinics, hospitals and senior living organizations.
  2. Recognize the emotional impact a claim may have on clinicians and care teams and what can be done to support them.
  3. Develop a culture and establish processes to provide emotional support to clinicians and care teams facing adverse outcomes, claims and lawsuits.
